• Ken And I were best buds for a few years in the early 60’s. While we drifted apart, I have many fond recollections of us spending time together. We shared our first part time jobs, cleaning the floors at Johnny’s restaurant on a Sunday or painting a fence in East Kildonan. My favourite memory is the two of us smoking cigarettes and talking about everything under the sun - pondering the Universe at a secret place we called “The Haven” an old pumping station on the South East side of the rail line off Plessis.
