Peacefully at home on Thursday, April 20, 2023 in her 97th year, Dolly, beloved wife of the late Ronald Harnett.
Dearly loved mother of Terry, much loved mother-in-law of the late Donna and beloved grandmother of Matthew. Best friend and sister to Ruby and Beatrice and the late William and Lorne. Dolly shared her life between Winnipeg and Toronto. Dolly always referred to “winning the lottery” when she met her husband Ron in 1945 and joined the “Harnett Clan”. Ron nicknamed her Dolly when they met because he said she looked like a beautiful doll. They were married for 37 years until death separated them. Dolly met her second partner Harry Mackey and was with him until his passing in 2020.
She will be truly missed by her many nieces and nephews in Toronto and Winnipeg who are all heartbroken. Cremation has taken place.

I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. I met Morna in 1963 at an architectural firm. We kept in touch over the years. She was the funniest and loving person. We always had something to laugh about. Lately I've been busy and I said, I haven't heard from Morna and I phoned today, and I knew something was wrong. Morna, I will never forget you.
