Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAEL PHILLIPS
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael James Phillips on April 20, 2023. Michael was a beloved father and friend who has left his family and friends devastated.
Michael was a talented wrestler who had become well known in his community. Later he became a chef to pursue his passion for food. Anyone who knew Michael knew that he had a very colourful sense of humour.
A privatized event will be held in Michael's memory, and anyone who knows Michael is encouraged to contact his son Brett Phillips through Facebook if they have not received the news.

I believe I met Mike in 1989; in the mid 90s he helped me get into Wrestling as my trainer, mentor and tag team partner. Along with being an exceptionally talented performer in the ring Mike was a genuinely big hearted person who could always be counted on. There isn't enough room here, or anywhere, for me to recount all of the great stories of Mike in character at an event but he was the epitome of kayfabe in an era of "smart" fans and set an example of professionalism regardless of who he was working and how large the crowd was. As he once said to me, "You're either one of the boys, or you're not," and he definitely was. Rest in peace brother. As always, I look forward to someday seeing you again. - Posted by: Jeff Ingram (Tag Team Partner) on: May 06, 2023

So sorry to hear of the families horrible loss. I worked with Mike in the early 90s making deliveries for the MLCC. I remember his infectious sense of humour. He will be missed by all whom ever knew Mike. - Posted by: Darren Corlett (Past coworker ) on: May 06, 2023
