With tremendous sadness we announce the sudden passing of Lisa Reiss after a brief illness on April 21, 2023.
She is survived by her parents and sister Barbara, Ed and Pam Reiss, and family pet Farfel.
Lisa was born in Winnipeg in 1971 and showed herself to be a unique individual from the very beginning. She was a talented artist, a passionate debater, a computer geek, and she could fix anything.
Though she thought herself an introvert, the truth is she loved talking to people. Lisa had a big heart and loved her family and those close to her.
Funeral services took place at the Hebrew Sick Benefit Association Cemetery. Pallbearers were her cousins Alan, Ken, and Noah Reiss, Jason Tapper, Benson and Eli Shapiro. Honorary pallbearers were Charlie Reiss and Jayden Cote.
Our thanks to cantor Tracy Kasner for her warmth and support; Dr. Jordan Townsend for his wonderful care and concern, and to all of our supportive friends and family to whom we are very grateful.
Donations in memory of Lisa may be made to the Jewish National Fund.

How could anyone not feel the warmth from Lisa? Not only in the family business your family owned but for 3 years she would come into the dog daycare I volunteered at, to pick up my favorite dog, Farfel.
