Sincerest condolences Mrs Gradt & to your beautiful family & many friends. Mr Gradt was my PT teacher as well at Westview School, Grade 1. Many years later I was blessed to have him as my Math Teacher. However, he was more than a Teacher. He was my Mentor & a person who cared above & beyond Math. I often think of him & the example he was to me & others. Such a good man. I'm truly sorry for your loss. I promise, one day, you will all be reunited again. Mr. Gradt was my favorite teacher. He taught Phys Ed at Westview school which was also my favorite subject. His smile was warm and I looked so forward to my time with him. Later he transferred schools and began teaching math at John Gunn, the junior high school I also attended. I would visit him often and always delighted in his wonderful company. I have thought of him throughout the years with gratitude. May he rest in peace and aloha! - Posted by: Leora Almstrom nee Zaporzan (Former student) on: May 06, 2023
