I am so sad to hear of your mother's passing, but so so very grateful to have had her cross paths in my life. We originally met in Lac du Bonnet, where I spent many hours trying on shoes in their shop. Later in 2011, when I came to work at Concordia Village, I got reacquainted with her & Wilt. She quickly adopted me, as I'd recently lost both my parents. There was never a hug, when she didn't say " I love you" in my ear. And I loved her back. I am ever grateful and blessed to have had Marg in my life. I am sending my heartfelt condolences to all of you. Especially Glen.. Oh how Concordia Village smiled when they married. Sending love and heartfelt condolences to Doug, Greg, Marilyn, Glenn and families. I will remember Aunt Marg for her strength, kindness, and dedication to her family. Despite the distance separating her siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, I will always admire her for encouraging family gatherings and keeping in touch with positive words of support. I first met Marg when we moved onto Beach Avenue in the sixties and shared a back lane with their family. We soon became friends as well as neighbours. Our lives took us in different directions when we moved and they moved out to Lac du Bonnet, but we reunited at Grey Street united church. We enjoyed laughing at memories, and trading stories of our adventures. I loved to hear Marg laugh, it’s certainly a favourite memory! Rest well my dear friend…Earth’s loss is Heaven’s gain! - Posted by: Bev Archer (Friend) on: May 09, 2023

Dear Doug, Greg, Marilyn and families…I was saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. Being next door neighbours on Manhattan for many years, your mom was like a second mom to me and my siblings, Our mothers spent many hours chatting across the fence or at the kitchen table drinking tea. Il always remember her giggle, it was very contagious! The entire Auld family was like an extension of the Dobson family with your Mom at the helm. I am happy she lived a long and productive life. I will always hold cherished memories in my heart. Love, Karen Asgeirson (Dobson) - Posted by: karen asgeirson (Friend and neighbour) on: May 06, 2023

Donna and I will miss Mom and our daily telephone calls. Mom was a special lady. A wonderful mother and grandmother who loved her family and many friends. It is a sad day for all those that knew and loved our Mom. As Marilyn said Mom is dancing with our Dad in their happy place. Hope to see you soon. My deepest condolences in the loss of dear Marg. She was such a dear friend always keeping in touch. We had so many fun times golfing at Pinawa & in Texas. Our Texas get together in Lac du Bonnet. Marg & Will had a florist shop in Lac du Bonnet and did all the flowers for our daughters wedding. We both lost our husbands very close together. We reminisced all our good times and sad times. we shared together and then one day the phone rang and there was Marg telling me she got married to Glenn. I was so thrilled for them. We met a few times at the casino and Glenn was such a loving supportive husband to Marg. I was so happy they had these last golden years together. My heart goes out to all Marg’s family. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal but love leaves memories no one can steal. May all your wonderful memories you shared together somehow sustain you in your time of sorrow. To live in the hearts of those you leave behind is to never die and Marg will live on in all our hearts forever. RIP my dear friend. - Posted by: Marlyn Harding (Friend) on: May 06, 2023
