Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH RONALD KENNETH DUBE
Peacefully, at his home, Joe passed away on May 4, 2023. He was surrounded by his family.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 57 years, Yvette (née Malo) and his children, Charmayne (Vince), Jackie (Steve), Carolyne (Len), Joey (Alida), and Jeremy. He also had 10 grandchildren, Danielle, Marcel, Michelle, Monique, Ben, Hailey, Harley, Colton, Elizabeth, Thomas and many bonus grandchildren. He also had five great-grandchildren, Lucas, Nora, Audrey, Carter and Fionn and one more to be born soon. He was a “dad” to many of our family friends and “a favourite uncle” to many nieces and nephews who will miss his laughter and entertaining storytelling.
Joe was the baby of his family and was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ivy, and siblings, Barb, Maureen, and Leo. He grew up on a farm near Plumas, MB. When he was 13, they moved to Winnipeg. He enjoyed a 45 year career as an aircraft mechanic.
Joe and Yvette were married in 1965 and quickly put down roots in St. Boniface. They lived in the Archwood area up until 1985 when they moved to Windsor Park. Joe was the ultimate family man and liked nothing more than being surrounded by his loved ones and friends. He was an awesome host and provided many good times with his guitar and singing on countless occasions.
Joe was always willing to help others and was often the first one to pitch in if anyone needed a helping hand. He volunteered his time at the community centre and with the Knights of Columbus at Holy Family Parish.
He loved animals and taking care of them, none more than his favourite, Barkley.
Joe will be missed by all that knew him.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 778 Archibald Street at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be held a half hour prior to Mass also at the church. Reception to follow.

My deepest condolences to Mrs Dube, Charmayne and the entire family on the loss of your dad/husband. I remember him well, from the many events and dances at the Archwood Community Club. Losing someone you love is never easy, but they are never really gone. They come back and visit in ways only you will understand, and are always watching over. Rest in Peace Mr. Dube. - Posted by: leslie jones (friend) on: May 09, 2023

I worked with Joe for many years at Transair. I will never forget the fun times we had together. His sence of humor was definitely unmatched. A brilliant mechanic as well. He will be sadly missed by many of his airline friends. - Posted by: Bud Lewis (Friend) on: May 09, 2023
