ROBERT (BOB) WARDEN

Bob Warden passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2023 after years of saying that he was never going to grow old.
He leaves behind the love of his life, Linda. His four children, Jacqueline Reville, Janis Warden (Greg), Jocelyn Jansen, and Cory (Candace) Warden. His nine grandchildren he loved more than anything, Brooklyn, Brysen and Liam Reville, Cooper and Owen Kirwan, Jordyn and Jayla Rowe, and Nash and Nora Warden. He is survived by his siblings, Joan Edgar, Judy Bickerton, Vince Warden, Norma Adams, Jim Warden and Mary Hoffman. He was predeceased by both his parents, Vincent and Nora Warden.
Growing up, Bob lived in many different cities and towns. He eventually stayed in Brandon, MB. Where he had many successful careers over his life from working at the City Centre hotel, being a partner in the Keywest Roofing and Enterprises company, his time as a Realtor, the founder of Mum's Family Restaurant with Linda, and most recently, he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator out of Fort McMurray.
Bob was always joking around, had such quick wit and a great sense of humor. He hated to be bored, and would look for things to do. He would have helped anyone.
Bob had another "baby" in the form of a '67 Thunderbird car. Taking special care of it, by only driving it in the summer. Even had a di-cast version of it on the shelf in the same exact colour.
In his younger years, Bob really enjoyed playing a few sports like racquetball, broomball, softball and he was one of the co-founders of Hock-Ten-Bay.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1-4 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 3 560- 13 St. E, Brandon, MB.
