ARLENE NICHOL

(nee PFEIFER)

June 21, 1938 - April 6, 2020

It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Arlene Nichol, of Calgary, AB, formerly of Winnipeg, MB.
Arlene will be greatly missed by her daughters and sons-in-law: Liana (Kerry) Cox of Fort Saskatchewan, AB and Donna (Jim) of Calgary, AB. Also grieving her passing are her grandchildren: Pendleton (Neelam), Britni and Addison from Fort Saskatchewan, AB as well as her great-grandson Otto of Fort Saskatchewan, AB. She will also be remembered by numerous relatives and friends.
Arlene was predeceased by her husband Mack, her parents: Jakob and Mary Pfeifer; her sisters: Edna Magel and Ruth Sander, and her brothers-in-law: Ray Kaisler, Rev. Alfred Sander and Ray Magel.
Arlene loved Christmas! She also enjoyed cross-stitching pictures for her family and knitting hats and scarves for people in need. Arlene was a very sociable person and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Arlene's Celebration of Life will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church, 400 Rouge Road on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Arlene’s name to a charity of your choice.

If roses grow in heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for us,
Place them in our Mother's arms
and tell her they're from us.

Tell her we love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her is easy,
We do it every day,
but there's an ache within our heart
that will never go away.
