Rob passed away peacefully at home.
He leaves behind his partner Evelin, family, friends and professional colleagues around the world.
There will be no funeral or burial. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a future date.

I’m sharing a fond memory of Evelin & Robert, that made it into my travel diary. Roger my husband, Abby our dog and myself were tent camping at Lake Louise Campground site K4 in August 2012. Evelin and Robert and the Westfalia were able to secured site K19 just down the road. We stopped by to say hello and check out the Westfalia. Robert describing the restoration process and the convenience of the camper van, very interesting! Light rain showers persisted for a few days with sunny breaks, so the evenings were cool and damp. On Sunday evening Aug 5, 2012 Roger had a good fire going, it was nice and toasty. Evelin wrapped in a blanket and Robert with wine and glasses wandered over in the dark. We had such a lovely evening sharing wine, fire and each others company which lasted well past midnight. I think of these moments often with fond memories of that very special time.
