GLORIA BARR
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gloria Barr on May 7. She passed peacefully in her sleep, predeceased by her loving husband, Gordon Barr.
She was our caring and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Her memory will endure through her three children, Jeffrey, Sheila and Susan (Ken), and her grandchildren, Devon, Hana and Erika.
Gloria lived a full life as a wonderful mother and mentor to her family and community. She loved to garden and sew anything and everything for her family. She enjoyed hosting family get-togethers and holiday parties. She would express her love through cooking and keeping the pantry full of snacks. Most of all she loved her family and instilled good values in her children and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Donations in her memory can be made to Diabetes Canada.

Dear Jeff, Shelia, and Susan. Sorry to hear about the sudden loss of your mom. I always remember the fabulous parties she and your dad used to host in the summer and at Christmas. I miss those carefree days a lot. It was great to see all the cousins a few times a year. Your mom was always so full of energy and enthusiasm. Always a great conversationalist and listener. She always seemed interested in what was going on with everyone. I know my mom and dad used to go on trips with your mom and dad when they were all younger. Take Care.
