LINDA KATHLEEN (KATHY) DIDOMENICANTONIO

1958 - 2023

With great sadness we announce the passing of Linda Kathleen Didomenicantonio after a battle with cancer on May 31, 2023, at Riverview Palliative Health Centre at the young age of 64 years.

Kathy (Linda) was born on August 27, 1958 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

She is survived by her husband Robert Didomenicantonio. Together, they were married for 45 years. They were blessed with two children, who both survive her, Nicole (Clayton) and Elliot (Brandy); and four beautiful grandchildren, Presley, Levi, Geneva, and Novalie. She also leaves behind many loving family members, who have been so supportive and loving throughout the years.

She is predeceased by her father Wayne Garrett and her mother May Garrett.

Kathy had the best personality. She had a gift for making friends and was always there for her family and loved ones. She loved spending time at the cabin in Beausejour, then at Hillside Beach. She especially loved dressing up as Mrs. Claus at her annual Christmas Cookie Bake with all her loved ones around her. No matter the circumstances, Kathy was always there for you.

She loved spending time with her family and especially with her four grandchildren, who she called “her angels”. She instilled family values, commitment, and a wonderful work ethic in all her children.

The family would like to extend thank yous to all the wonderful staff at CancerCare Manitoba, Victoria Hospital, Palliative Care, and the amazing compassionate nurses and staff at Riverview Health Centre – Palliative Floor.

As per Kathy’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, or a charity of your choice.

Heaven gained a beautiful soul.
