Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Jack had a very influential role in my business career. When at Richardsons he went out of his way to help a very young salesman trying to sell them legal information services. He then introduced me to a friend of his, (Norman) who hired me into a new industry I’m still in. Great guy, I owe him a lot - Posted by: Matt Herriot (Business ) on: Jun 20, 2023

  • Jack was truly one of the good guys. He was caring, kind and forever the gentleman. His life was not always easy, but thoughout, he maintained his humour, kindness and positive attitude. We didn't spend much time together as we aged, he was often on my mind. Be at peace cuz. - Posted by: Caroline Malter nee Kesler (Cousin) on: Jun 17, 2023

  • Jack was a member of a group of guys he had gone to to and university with. The group is called the LADS since the early 80s this group would go on a fishing trip. Jack was a key member Where his sense of humour shone. Although the lads don’t go fishing anymore they get together several times a year and recall old memories of the June trips. Jack will certainly be missed. He was a key member and the archives faithfully made albums of all our trips. Cheers Jack wherever you are. - Posted by: Gordon wicks (Friend ) on: Jun 17, 2023

  • I had the good fortune to meet Jack in the early 1980’s when he worked at Portage and Main as did I. He had a great sense of humour and made many friendships in the downtown business community. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Wayne Harden (Friend) on: Jun 17, 2023
