Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Chère Claire et famille ainsi que la famille Lizotte et Levasseur: Recently I attended the funeral of Fr. John Kracher O.M. and learned of Rev. Marcel…it brought back so many fond memories of our lives together at St. Boniface Diocesan. His infectious spirit, love of young people, and dedication to the church were an inspiration to us all. It was 1995, and Marcel had just taken on the leadership of SBDHS during a time of its expansion, new wing of the school, and so many new and dynamic teachers had been drawn to the energy which was like sweet incense in the hallways. Marcel put his all into the brief 68 years here, and has now left behind an important legacy as a Catholic educator here in western Canada. Merci Marcel….merci!
