Peacefully at home on June 17, 2023 our father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 87 years.

Dwayne was predeceased by his wife Judi, his parents, Viola and Nils Dahlin, daughter-in-law Charlene Dahlin, and granddaughter Lindsey Dahlin. He is survived by his two sisters, Doreen and Donna; two brothers, Ted and Ken. He also leaves to cherish his memory, son Paul (Barb); daughters, Sheri (Daren) and Laurie; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

During this time, he was also the President of the Provencher Rifle and Pistol Association where he won many awards for his marksmanship. He started working for C.P. Rail in 1953 where he worked for 38 years until his retirement in 1992.

The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Leylek (CancerCare Manitoba) and Dr. Liu (thoracic surgery) at Health Sciences Centre for the compassion and care Dwayne received.
