Cinthia Susan Relf, 68, of Brandon MB, passed away on June 21, 2023, with her loved ones by her side listening to some of her favorite music.
Cindy was born on April 21, 1955, to Betty and Don Relf in Brandon, MB.
In 1980, she met Peter Hackert, and spent 43 precious years with him. They had three children, Charlie, Samantha and Michael, predeceased by baby Sam.
When Cindy started her family, she dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Cindy excelled at this role while supporting her children through the many passions and difficulties in their lives. She made it her mission to be there for her family and loved ones. Cindy was kind to everyone around her, taking in her children's friends as her own. She had a special place in her heart for each of them.
Cindy was passionate about her family, and her love for animals, especially cats, was pure. Cindy has many fond memories of going up to her mom and dad's place every Friday, where friends and family would gather to play crib and 31, while watching the kids and their friends enjoy the pool. When Cindy wasn't running after kids, or having Mike wrapped around her legs (in the younger years), she could be found making the kids and their friends her famous waffles and Kool-Aid, taking them to the park, or enjoying her time watching her favorite game shows. Cindy had a heart of gold, and everyone who knew her would agree. All she ever wanted was everyone to be happy and healthy. This alone would make her happy.
Cindy is predeceased by her parents Betty and Don Relf, her mother-in-law Ursula, and her baby Sam. She is survived by her husband Peter, children Charlie, Samantha (Damien), Michael (Katie), sister Robyn, brothers Scott and Randy, as well as her grandchildren Arhianna, Dante, Owen, Sarah, Cayson, Chloe, Dawson, and Grayson, all whom she loved with her entire heart, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and, friends who she loved dearly.
Cindy was a beautiful, genuine, loving woman, with a heart of pure gold. She would do anything for anyone just to make their day better. Even when her health started to decline, Cindy's love for everyone, for music, and for animals, strengthened. Cindy touched the lives of so many, and her memories will forever live on. As Cindy would always say "this isn't goodbye, just bye for now xxoo".
The family requests that all flowers and cards are sent to 31 Grant Boulevard, Brandon MB, R7B2L4
