JOYCE LOUISE PICHE

January 15, 1946 – June 17, 2023

Peacefully at home, Mom passed away at the age of 77 years.

She is survived by her children, daughter Colette (Randy) and grandchildren, Lee and Téa; son Lloyd (Dawn) and family; brother Darrin (Terry); sister-in-law Carmen; along with nieces and nephews. Also mourning Mom’s loss are her lifelong friend Joanne and best friend Pat.

Joyce lived in Winnipeg for 76 years when she decided to sell her house and move to Ashern to live with Colette and Randy. It was a big adjustment for her but she loved seeing and feeding the deer that came to visit. She especially loved to feed them by hand. Mom looked forward to Saturdays when we would play NCI and Kinsmen Bingo. With the arrival of nicer weather, Mom was outside every day puttering around in the yard.

As per Mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held.

Thank you to John and Karen Gray for the care and compassion during this most difficult time.

Mom you will be forever missed and loved.

Till we meet again.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • So sorry to hear about Joyce. It's been a long time since I've seen her. I was trying to figure a way to make contact with her but failed. I remember when she would see me at her home or on the street she would jump into my arms. She was always a pleasure to see her. RIP Joyce 🙏 - Posted by: Albert Champagne (Cousin ) on: Jul 08, 2023

  • Oh Joyce I am so happy we had the chance to talk just a few days prior to your passing. I am so sorry I did not get the chance to fulfill your true wishes but I vow to watch over Colette with love as you would have me do. You were a wonderful part of my life and will cherish your memory always. - Posted by: Carmen Whittle (Sister in law) on: Jul 08, 2023

  • Joyce you are dearly missed and will be fondly remembered. You will hold a place in my heart forever. - Posted by: Pat (Friend ) on: Jul 08, 2023

  • Mom my life will never be the same without you. I will forever treasure the memories we made, the tears and laughter we shared and all you taught me. I'm trying to take it one day at a time and doing everything you asked me to take care of. Your gazebo is built I only wish you could be here to enjoy it. I will forever need you, I love you mom - Posted by: Colette (daughter) on: Jul 08, 2023
