With sadness and sorrow Ross C. Forbes announces the passing of his father, Jock, at 92 years of age.
He leaves his son Ross, wife Judy and grandchildren, Alyssa, Cameron and Tina, who will cherish so many wonderful memories of their dear "PAPA". He was predeceased by his loving wife Viola in 2014. He is sorely missed.
Jock passed away peacefully at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg. Many thanks to the staff for the dignity and kindness they blessed Jock with prior to his passing.
Jock had a very interesting and varied work history including many years with the RCMP (1949 to 1973), TransAir, Pacific Western Airlines and Transport Canada.
In accordance with Jock's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service was held.

Mr. Forbes was a man who, when you met him “demanded” respect. He was a very very nice man. He made you feel important whenever you talked to him. Transair made a good choice when hiring him. I was glad to have him teach us the rights and wrongs if everyday living. Thank you, Mr. Forbes.
