LINDA MARGARET LANGLOIS

(NELSON)

October 11, 1944 - July 3, 2023

Linda Langlois (née Nelson) was born to Luella and Andrew Nelson in Winnipeg on Oct. 11, 1944. She grew up in Carberry, at the Nelson farm in Gregg with her sisters, Muriel, Beth, Andrea, Faye, Cheryl, and Sandra. She attended Dempsey School, Carberry Collegiate, and Brandon University.

On Sept. 17, 1965, she married Wayne Langlois, and they moved to northern Manitoba, returning to Brandon in 1987. They had three boys, Riel, Drue, and Myles, and three grandchildren, Thomas, Frankie, and Joey. Linda worked as a teacher, driver's education instructor, and teacher assistant. She also worked at Lindenberg Seeds, and did the potato harvest and seeding in Carberry.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. She loved performing music, and was part of a choir group, which she continued to do in 2023. Her time with Bruce Hood was very special to her.

Her wake will be Saturday, July 15th, at 31 Winter Bay in Brandon. Come and go, from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.. Friends and family are invited to join us to celebrate her life.
