It was one of Dad’s greatest delights to be named “Gigi” to Lincoln EDWARD (3) and Ruby (1). Ed’s pride and joy were his five grandsons: Steven Sydorchuk, his wife Jaclyn, Michael Lempen, Max Sydorchuk, his fiancé Rebecca, Nicholas Lempen, his wife Nicole, and Jack EDWARD Sydorchuk.

Spending 49 years with his high school sweetheart, Barbara Newton, together they raised four children. Dad’s best friend, David EDWARD Steven, his wife Leslie. He was a great role model to Jeffrey. Dad’s princess, Donna, her husband Jim, and his partner in crime, Susan.

Edward was born to Vera and Stephen Sydorchuk. He was 87 at the time of his passing. Edward was close to his brother Donald and sister-in-law Del.

Dad had a smile and kind words to all. He went out of his way to make you feel special. He will be missed. We love you, Dad.

Memorial service to be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • I will always remember what a truly nice person my cousin "Eddy" (as I liked to call him) was in the way that he treated others. Because I moved away from Wpg, I didn't see him as often as I would have liked, but certainly thought about him with the fondest of memories. He would often visit his Aunt Stephie after my Father Norman died and they had great coffee hours together. My Mom would pass on the family news to me. My deepest sympathy to all the family on his passing. - Posted by: Lorraine Ball ( nee Sidorchuk) (Cousin) on: Jul 17, 2023
