It is with great sadness that the family of Myron Eugene Bulawka announces his passing on May 16, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Mary and an only sister Nadia.
Myron was born on April 15, 1940 and raised in Winnipeg. He graduated with a degree in engineering from the U of Manitoba at the age of 21.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 25 years, Doris Barten; an only son, Dr. Craig Bulawka (Andrea) and four beloved grandchildren, Max, Emma, Abby and Ben.
Myron was multi talented. He could read and write three languages and could speak two other languages. He held a pilots license, a motorcycle license and a certified Sail Canada license. Most of all we will miss him and his sense of humor. He could tell a joke better than any comedian on television.
We would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Cross Cancer Hospital, the Royal Alexander Hospital, the Glenrose Hospital and the palliative staff at the Eden House.
A memorial service in Winnipeg is planned for September.
