It is with great sadness that we announce that Marie Claire Jutras unexpectedly passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on July 15, 2023.
Claire is survived by her husband Gordon Towerzey; sisters, Jocelyne (Don) and Suzanne (Shel); brother Bruce (Hilda); nieces and nephews, Tara, Michelle, David, Mark, Meagan (Brian) and Kyle (Ashlee), their children and numerous extended family members and many friends.
Claire was predeceased by her parents, Alexandre and Cora Jutras, and sisters, Rita and Elaine.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue.

Claire was one of my best friends, growing up. She was one-of-a-kind. If you were lucky enough to know her, you were blessed. Claire was kind, funny, graceful and a light in this world. I have many fun memories of Claire and the adventures we shared. So many giggles as I recall our memories of our time together. Thanks for being my Friend, Claire. Rest in Peace, my Friend!
