MARK OLIVER
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son and brother on December 13, 2022 at St. Boniface Hospital, after suffering a cardiac arrest at home on the evening of December 4.
His friends, family, neighbours and colleagues are invited to a celebration of his life on July 29, 2023 at Mark and Mellanie’s home at 186 Glenwood Crescent, Winnipeg, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (Alternate location in case of rain, Gordon-King Memorial Church, 127 Cobourg Avenue). We’ve tried our best to honour Mark’s wishes of a Viking funeral - there will be axe-throwing and vinarterta and after some searching, we think we’ve found an eight-legged horse.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to Trees Winnipeg, a cause that Mellanie has worked with for a number of years and that Mark was always happy to support.
The family requests that friends visit Mark Oliver's tribute wall at www.bardal.ca where condolences, photos and stories may be placed for all to see.

I was very sorry to hear of Mark's passing! I worked with Mark for a period of time...he was always a thoughtful and considerate man with a great sense of humour. I will never forget him! My sincere condolences to Mark's wife, children, and to his entire family! R.I.P. Mark... - Posted by: Donna Hlady (Friend, co-worker.) on: Jul 26, 2023
