• This is my sad farewell to my beautiful cousin, Sharon Dyck. Although I only spent a few hours throughout my life with Sharon, she impressed me so much that she is forever etched into my memory. At a dinner she hosted for me a decade ago, she welcomed me as though we’d always lived close by and knew each other intimately. Her home was charming and full of life. Her three children were smart, friendly, and open-hearted. I was treated to a private rock music performance and a wonderful meal featuring the best lasagna I have ever eaten – maybe the best lasagna anyone has ever eaten! Sharon’s sudden passing will leave a tremendous hole in the lives of so many people. Her dedication to her family was so palpable. I am certain she will continue to guide and protect them in any way that is now available to her. They will truly have an angel at their shoulder. God bless you, Sharon, as you embrace this new phase of your soul’s journey. • Sharon was a bright light every day at work. Sharon is a good friend and always conscious of others. We will miss her dearly. Our condolences to Jerry and the children. I was always amazed by her remembering details of information we shared.
