It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stanislaw Soltys, a loving husband, Tata, brother, Dziadzio and Wujek at the age of 86, surrounded by his loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.
Stanislaw was reunited in Heaven with his wife Helena. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Walter and Krystyna (Vrad) Vodrazka, his grandchildren, Austin and Stefanie, his sister Jozefa Rarog (in Poland), brother-in-law John (Irena) Rarog and sister-in-law Zofia Rarog. He will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews, both in Winnipeg and Poland.
Rosary at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023, followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stanislaw’s memory may be made to Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2W 2L8.
