It's with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Emilia Jolicoeur, age 93, of Winnipeg, MB on July 21, 2023.
She is survived by Jeanne, Denise (Henry), Terry, Gilbert, Guy (Bettianne), Yolande and Gerard. Also left to mourn are her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Jean (2000), Rick Rickards (2007), daughter Lorraine Michaud (2007), and daughter Monique (June 2023).
Memere was a perfect role model of what a grandmother is and there's nothing more she enjoyed doing than cooking for and spending time visiting with her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she also kept busy doing puzzles, playing cards, and knitting scarves, mitts, blankets and more for numerous hospitals and charities.
Our family is grateful to know that Memere is finally at peace. A private family service will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest at Green Acres Cemetery towards the end of August.
