Surrounded by his family, Benjamin "Ben" Vergara Bayanin passed away on July 18, 2023 at the age of 80.
Ben was predeceased by his beloved father and mother, Feliciano and Romana, and his loving wife Carmen. Left to cherish his memory are his son Bradley (Nancy), daughter Cheryl (Geoff) and four grandchildren, several siblings, nieces, nephews and friends living in Canada, the Philippines and across the world.
Lamay will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. A Funeral Service and reception will take place on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, followed by interment at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley St.
