It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother, Evelyn Morrison. Mom peacefully passed away in the comfort of her own home in the early hours of December 19, 2022.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia; son, Bradley; son, Wade (Dragiça); and grandson, Sava. Mom will be fondly remembered and missed by her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Art Loucks; brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Sharron Halabuza; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ian and Marj Morrison; and by extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Terence Andrew Morrison on February 13, 2016.
Our family would like to express our gratitude to all family, friends and neighbours who reached out with their support and prayers after Mom passed away. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Helga Sickert of the Meadowood Medical Clinic and Dr. Martina Reslerova of St. Boniface Hospital for the medical guidance and care that they provided to Mom over the years.
A funeral mass celebrating Mom’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 18th, 2023, at Christ the King Church, 847 St. Mary’s Road, with Father Chrys Agu presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mom’s memory can be made to the Christ the King Memorial Fund, 847 St. Mary’s Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2M 1P3 or to The Reh-Fit Foundation, 1390 Taylor Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3M 3V8.
