ARMAND GERARD BONNETEAU
Remembered with love, it is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Armand Bonneteau of 85 years.
Dad will be lovingly remembered by his five children, Lea (Don), Jeannette (Chris), Monique (Mark), Gisele (Dave), Gerald (Rena), his grandchildren Keith, Ryan, Mandy, Kelly, Darren, Jason, Christine, Mike, Keven, Justen, Jeff, Ian, and Jennifer, great-grandchildren, and Dad’s brother’s Charlie, Bert, and sister Jeannine.
Dad is predeceased by his wife Lucienne Jeannine Bonneteau (nee Langelier) of 49 years and his little boy Ronald.
Dad’s charismatic personality will always be remembered. His smile could light up a room. Dad worked hard to support his family and was always available to help his kids. Dad loved camping, fishing, gardening, and cooking.
Dad spent years in British Columbia working and enjoying time on Fraser River B.C., camping and fishing with mom.
Dad loved to play cards or board games with anyone who dared to take him on.
Thank you, Joyce, for looking after dad and caring for all his needs at home and all the countless hours spent sitting by dad’s side in and out of the hospital. You made it possible for Dad to enjoy the last eight months of his life. We all love you.
I would like to thank the staff at Ste Anne Hospital and the staff at cancer care Steinbach for all the attentive care given to Dad. I would also like to give a special thank you to Lesley (Ste Anne homecare). Thank you to Joyce’s awesome family, and thank you, Jake and Bea, for all of your support. My dad loved you all.
A viewing will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home on August 15, 2023 from 4:00 -5:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, followed by a private family interment.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the cancer foundation.
