ALICE YONA MONEYAS (IKWE)
Peacefully with family by her side, we announce the passing of Alice Yona Moneyas on August 8, 2023 at the age of 82 years.
Alice leaves to mourn her children Henry (Patsy), Riley (Betty), Norma (Brian), Deanna (John), Audrey and Jess; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence Favel, Lydia (Patrick) Bushie and Beverley Smith; brother Alex Favel; stepsisters, Lillian Bushie, Janet Seymour and Nancy Clarke; stepbrother Clarence Peebles; sister-in-law Lorraine Moneyas; brother-in-law Norman Moneyas; numerous family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Moneyas; parents, Alice and Alfred Favel; brothers, Alfred Favel, George Favel; sons, Wilmar Moneyas and Baby Moneyas; daughter Darlene Moneyas; grandchildren, Jeanine Hardisty, Darcy, Baby Raven, Riley Jr Moneyas, Baby Isaiah, Samantha Moneyas and Meagan Alice Moneyas.
The family would like to thank the Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion.
Wake service is being held at Hollow Water Band Hall, Hollow Water, MB, August 12 to 14, 2023, funeral service will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at the same location. Interment at the Hollow Water Anglican Cemetery.
