ANDREW SHERSTY

October 16, 1959 – August 11, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andy, a loving father, son, and grandfather, who passed away at Victoria General Hospital, surrounded by loved ones.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 43 years, Linda, daughters Desiree, Miranda, Brittany (Cory), and Paige (Tyler), and his grandchildren Zoe and Mia. Andy was predeceased by his parents Phyllis and Toffield and his brothers, Frank, Dan, Greg, and Rick as well as numerous other relatives.

Andy was always a hard worker. He spent his life working with his hands. Whether it was a new build, demolition, or renovation, at home or in a client’s house, he was always on the go. Even when he got home from work, he did not relax until supper was finished and all the dishes were clean. Andy’s final years working with All Canadian Renovations were some of his happiest. He always came home with stories about his bosses, co-workers, and the projects he loved.

No happy time that passes

Is really ever gone

For looking back upon



Your memories are our keepsakes

God has you in his keeping

Special thanks to the doctors and staff at both Health Sciences Centre and Victoria General Hospital. A special thank you is given to Dr. J.B. Sharkey for his kindness and compassion during Andy’s illness.

As per Andy’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Kings Park, 198 Kings Drive, at 1:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
