Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I just heard about her passing today! She was quite a dynamo and loved doing her “Children's Church” for many years. She was quite tireless and even now I marvel at her energy. Definitely someone I have remembered all these decades later. - Posted by: Margaret (Friend) on: Oct 25, 2023

  • Condolences to all the King family as we hear about the passing of Hazel. She was well loved and loved well. My earliest memories are of Mrs. King teaching us during Children's Church following Sunday School at East Kildonan Baptist Church. I LOVED every minute and LOVED her as she taught us of God's love for us and how to grow our relationship with Him! I went into teaching because of her, wanting to be the kind of teacher she was, a teacher who cared about the children with her whole being. I can only imagine the impact she had on all the other children and adults alike that she met through her life!
