JEAN (JENNY) MOZIL
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Jean, 91 years.
Born in Ledwyn, Manitoba in 1931 to Sylvester and Helena (Romaniuk) Zagozewski, where Jean lived with her seven siblings, Carl, Rudy, Bernice Mykietowich, Emily Graziano, Norman, Stella Janozeski, and Isadore. In 1948 she moved to Winnipeg. Jean married Harry Mozil and they opened Jean’s Grocery on Stella Avenue. In 1967 they moved to Birds Hill and built a wonderful life together raising two daughters.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Gloria McLaren (Greg) and Arlene Bell (Rob); her grandchildren, Andrew McLaren (Julie), Connie Bazin (Christian), Candace McLaren, and Bohdan Bell (partner Melissa Lavergne); her great-grandchildren, Lochlan Bazin, Lydia McLaren, Adalynn Bazin, and Owen McLaren.
We are very grateful for the warmth and compassion of the staff at West Park Manor and, previously, at The Rosewood Supportive Housing and The Waverley Retirement Residence.
A private family service will be held.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Aunty Jean was always so kind to my baba (Anne romaniuk) and she just loved spending time with her and her big garden. Your mom always had a smile on her face and just brightened the day. I have many memories of her throughout the years.
