It is with profound sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Delbert, at his residence in Carman, MB, on September 2, 2023, at the age of 85.
He will be greatly missed by his sister Darlene Rempel-Fillion, his niece Kimberly Shaw (Gord Graveline), great-niece Sarah Groombridge (Ryan), great-niece Karina Shaw and great-great-niece Natalie Groombridge as well as his only remaining Aunt Chris Krahn and many special cousins and a multitude of friends. Delbert was loved by all who met and knew him.
Funeral service will be held at the Roland United Church on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with reception to follow at the Roland Community Hall. Interment will take place in the Myrtle Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carman Legion or a charity of one’s choice.
