Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I just wanted to pass along condolences to you Lynn and to all the family. Danny was always one of Don's favourite people. I know his death will leave a big hole. He has always been a big presence. He will be missed. - Posted by: Marion Ruth Klassen (Neigbour) on: Sep 14, 2023

  • Dan was a super guy with everybody. He was the advertising manger of one of our magazines. I worked in the circulation department at Public Press for 30 years. In our jobs we processed subscriptions and and Dan would come in to our department and say to me Joanie what is the postal code for the town he needed and I could tell him without looking it up in the postal code book (this was the good old days remember them!}. He called me the walking postal code book because I had a phenomenal memory. At our Christmas luncheons he was the one who made the speeches and he had such a great sense of humour that he had everybody in such tears enough to overflow the Assiniboine River. So in closing Lynn and family I send you my deepest heartfelt sympathy. Joan - Posted by: Joan Porteous (A former Public Press/United Grain Growers employee) on: Sep 11, 2023

  • Always enjoyed talking old time hockey with Dan, a good guy. R.I.P. Ted Irvine - Posted by: Ted Irvine (Friend) on: Sep 09, 2023
