On behalf of Evergreen Basic Needs in Gimli, please accept our condolences on Maggie's passing. Maggie was the housewares volunteer for many years at EBN. Her music kept us all entertained during the days she came to the store. We kept in touch after she had moved to the city but hadn't hear from her for awhile. A great lady, who faced her health issues head on. She will be missed. - Posted by: Karen Bowman (Friend) on: Sep 28, 2023

The Croatto were well know to my family. Bob Croatto and my father Lawrence Ahoff were good friends through school and dad got to know Romeo and family too. Romeo and Margaret lived the next street over during my childhood and we (my brother Morgan and I, Sharilee) would play with Shawn and the Twins Vanessa and Cynthia until they all moved away. I found out few years ago and reached out to Romeo and Margaret having found out they were living in Gimli but did not get response back. I had seen their Facebook page (my parents are not on social media of any kind nor have a cell phone) thinking I can connect the two families back again. But didn’t hear anything and now my mom told me she had seen the obituary of Margaret and how she suddenly died. Our deepest condolences to all the Families. We are so sorry to hear she is gone and is deeply missed by us. - Posted by: Ahoff Family (Friend ) on: Sep 18, 2023

Our deepest condolences to you Romeo and your family. Maggie was a beautiful person and fought a battle and fought it with dignity never complaining. She will always be in our thoughts as one of a kind who always loved her husband and family. Hopefully, you can stay strong through her journey as she would of wanted you to. - Posted by: Rozanne and Garry Weselake (Friend’s ) on: Sep 16, 2023
