JOHN FOTTY

June 25, 1937 - September 13, 2023


It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing on September 13, 2023 of our beloved husband, father and papa.

Dad is survived by his wife (our mom) Arlene of 60 years, together with his children, Laurie (Joe), Kim (Terry) and Brad (Sandy), grandchildren, Kay-Lee (Bradyn), Daniel (Jazmin), Madison and Brooklyn, and great-granddaughter, Sawyer. Dad is also survived by his brother, Harry, sister-in-law, Pat (Edmonton), sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Dennis (Newdale), along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and his granddogs.

Cremation has taken place. At Dad’s request, we will celebrate him in a private family interment.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice in his memory.

  • I did not know John Fotty at all, but I have had the pleasure of working with both his daughters, Kim and Laurie. From conversations we had, I know how much they loved their dad and how heart wrenching it is to lose him. He will always be there in your hearts and you will remember him in many ways.
