Henry Beaupre, (age 85), of Campbell River, BC, passed away September 3, 2023. Henry is survived by his current wife Barb (Erickson) Beaupre (married 2015) as well as his four children: Karen Andrew (Al), Byron Beaupre (Kathy), Kevin Beaupre (Thesa), and Una Bryce, step-children Carla (Roy) and Marty, as well as his 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three of his sisters; Rose, Terry (Albert) and Ida, brothers-in-law Brien, Calvin (Marilyn), and Calvin (Cathy), and sisters-in-law Ellenore, Gladys, Gloria, and Sandra (Lance).
Henry was Born August 28, 1938, in Belmont, Manitoba, the seventh of nine children to Edmond and Jeannette Beaupre, and grew up on the family farm. Henry went to Juiorat College in Winnipeg training to be a priest. In 1962 he married Della Liebel and started farming in Dunrea, Manitoba, where they raised their four children. Henry was an active member of the Knight of Columbus and volunteered regularly in the community. Henry enjoyed life and loved many sports such as hockey, curling, racketball, fishing, snowmobiling, and of course golfing. His last game of golf was played on Fathers Day 2023 with his son Byron and two of his grandsons. Henry and his late wife Della (passed 2012) retired to Campbell River in 1996. Henry remarried in 2015 to Barb Erickson. In his retirement Henry continued to volunteer, golf and hang out at his favorite watering hole The Legion. Henry's wit, humor, and laughter will be remembered and missed by all.
Our family is grateful to know that Henry is at peace. If you end up at your local watering hole or on the 19-hole please send up a toast to Henry in a celebration of his life. He will appreciate it
