It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard on September 20, 2023, at Concordia Hospital at the age of 87 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 48 years, Maggie; many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street with interment at Transcona Cemetery.

Maggie, I wish to express my condolences to you on the passing of Richard. Knowing him since I was a little girl, I always remember this tall, handsome man and we both know Critchley men were not tall! It has been many years since I last saw you and Richard, but it was always great to see you when you passed through Medicine Hat. He has met up with Brian and Bill by now and they are all having a wonderful laugh. Remember all the good times you and Richard had together, it will bring smiles and some tears. Keep well Maggie. Dick was a strong Lion, transferring to the Beausejour Lions Club after his home club in Oakbank ceased. Strong in Lionism he was a Zone Chairman I looked up to.
