Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIAN RAYMER KELLY
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Kelly. He passed suddenly, surrounded by his family who read him Scripture and gave him all their love.
He was married to Phyllis (née Whitfield), and was a loving father to Brian Jr., Benjamin (Debra) and Matthew (Jeneen). He was an attentive Poppa (grandfather) to Adam, Noah, Justin and Jada. Also left to mourn is his sister Shauna Kelly. He is remembered with deep fondness by all who knew him.
Brian was born in Winnipeg and attended Greenway, General Wolfe, and Kelvin high schools; ultimately graduating from St. Paul’s. He obtained a degree from the University of Manitoba and spent most of his professional life working in commercial real estate.
His life deeply changed when he found Christ in his adult life. He practiced his faith with humility, devotion, and love. We are certain Brian has found peace in joining his Creator in heaven, and joy to be able to play with (and feed) his faithful dog Rudy once again.
Brian was kind and generous, with a great sense of humour. He devoted his life to caring for others. It was clear to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Brian that his wealth lay in relationships. He had many friends that he kept in touch with until the end.
He was an especially devoted caregiver to his wife Phyllis and to his son Brian Jr.
Special thanks to Genelove for her daily care for Brian at home, and to the Comforts of Home Care caregivers. Thank you to the Emergency nurses at Grace Hospital who showed special compassion to Brian.
Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Portage Avenue Church, 1420 Portage Avenue - Reception to follow.

I loved Brian so much. He was so kind to me and I am forever grateful for his involvement and care in my life. I knew him from the King's Fellowship Church. He cared a lot about the church. I know that he is loved and missed by so many. I am glad that I've had the opportunity to know him in this lifetime and looking forward to seeing him again. - Posted by: Duane Shillinglaw (The King's Fellowship Church ) on: Oct 21, 2023

Brian was a true man of God. He loved the Lord, his family, and others with great devotion. He was also a man of prayer and remembered so many in his prayers. He trusted the Lord through many challenges and trials and kept his sense of humour in them all. Dan and I were richly blessed by his friendship over the years and will miss him greatly. - Posted by: Bev Rutherford (friend) on: Oct 16, 2023
