KIMBERLEY HOFFMAN
Our amazing mom, Kimberley Hoffman, passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 61, surrounded by loved ones at home.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Margaret Hoffman and leaves behind her three children, Jenny, Kristy and Tim; five grandchildren, Nicki, Benny, Cameron, Shea, and Talia; her two brothers, Clayton (Susan), and John, niece Jessica (Tyler), nephew Kevin (Andrea), great-nephew Owen, and partner Marcel.
Kim raised her three children, Jenny, Kristy, and Tim, as a single mom. Her kids were her entire life and her greatest joy was time spent with each one of them. Her main devotion was to their happiness. She was the best mom to all of us and she could make any difficult time in our lives better, just by her guidance and giving the best hugs anyone could ever have.
Kim loved spending her mornings with Jenny while drinking a latte. They often went to Costco which was one of Kim’s favourite places. Kim was an excellent cook and baker, and all the huge Christmas dinners that her and Jenny made together were loved by all. After Tim and Kristy moved away, Kim kept her close relationship with them through daily phone calls where the laughs were plentiful. Kim loved her visits to Montreal to see Kristy and New York City to see Timmy. She loved her grandchildren just like they were her own kids and was so proud to be their Babba. They loved going to see movies with her and surrounded her at the many family barbecues and celebrations at Jenny’s house. Kim often said she had the best brothers. Clayton and John were always making her laugh, they loved joking around together. Kim loved Susan like a sister. They made many great memories together including on their trips to Las Vegas and Mexico.
Later in life Kim met Marcel, with whom she loved to cook, fish and travel to many places including the East Coast and Sedona, Arizona.
She made herself a wonderful career at Canada Post in Commercial Sales and made many lifelong friends who described her as the sweetest and kindest person. Kim had the ability to make anyone smile and laugh as she had an amazing sense of humour.
When Kim retired, she got herself a puppy, the other light in her life, Tia. Tia brought just as much joy to Kim as her kids did. She loved taking Tia for walks with Jenny at Kildonan Park and Chickadee trail especially in the fall time when it was most beautiful.
Kim was a loving and devoted daughter to her mom Marge. They did everything together and were inseparable right up until Marge took her last breath.
Kim loved reading a good book and spending time in her beautiful yard that she took so much pride in. Kim had an amazing eye for decorating, her home was spotless and absolutely beautiful. She enjoyed meeting her aunt Joanie for a cup of tea, where they shared stories and laughter. Kim also loved the casino, especially South Beach and the Aria in Las Vegas.
Life will Never be the same for our family without her. She is so loved and will be missed by all forever.
Fly high mom, now you are free.

It feels like I will never be happy again, Mommy. Every night I look at pictures of you and wish I could bring you back. Most things feel meaningless to me now but I know that’s not what you want for me. You were the kindest, most loving, lovable, and beautiful person in this world. God must have seen something in me to choose me to give to you. I live for both of us now. I know you are waiting for me when my time comes. Thank you for making me strong and brave. My heart is broken but I know it will heal when I am with you again many years from now, the way it always did on earth. I love you endlessly. - Posted by: Kristy (Daughter) on: Nov 04, 2023

Kim was the kindest, honest, helpful person I knew. She always had a kind word for anyone, I'm trying to remember the last time I saw Kim, she came to my house for tea with her beloved dog Tia and spoke lovingly of her family and was looking forward to traveling with Marcel, ✌️ be with you old friend 🙏 - Posted by: Lorraine A Stuski (Co worker Cc ) on: Oct 22, 2023

I just learned of Kim's passing from a former work colleague and I am sorry the world lost someone like her way to early. Kim and I worked together at Canada Post for over 20 years before her retirement and she certainly was someone that came to be a friend. I always enjoyed making her laugh and bringing her to near tears in doing so. The last time I saw Kim was at Kildonan Park in the summer of 2020 and spent over an hour talking and laughing and remembering the years past. I am so sorry I never got to see or talk to her again but I know she will be missed . Jenny, Kristy, Timmy you may not remember me but your Mom was one awesome lady! You were lucky to have her and I am happy I new her. I am so sorry for your loss. Take Care..... - Posted by: John Sienkiewicz (Co-Worker/Friend) on: Oct 21, 2023

Kim was kind, compassionate, happy, and helpful. Full of integrity and love for life and her family. This was evident from the first time I met her at Canada Post. A very special person, and she will be missed. Condolences to her children, grandchildren, the rest of her family, and all those that knew and loved her, for their loss. She will be missed. - Posted by: Jim Head (Worked With Kim At Canada Post) on: Oct 21, 2023
