It is with broken hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece and friend, Tabatha June Abrey on October 17, 2023 at the St. Boniface Hospital.
She is predeceased by her mother Judy Abrey (née Taraschuk), and brother, James Abrey, who recently passed on April 20, 2023.
Tabatha leaves behind in mourning her father Lloyd Abrey (Deborah); loving and devoted friend Hal Slater; grandfather Gerald Schoeneweis; and many other loved ones including numerous family members, countless friends and caregivers at her Actionmarguerite home.
A celebration of Tabatha’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Sinclair Park Community Centre, 490 Sinclair Street. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Actionmarguerite St. Boniface.

Remembering the summers we spent together laughing and enjoying the sun. Tabitha lit up the room with her warm smile and dancing eyes! She was petite yet mighty. Tabitha, rest easy. Sincere sympathy to all the family & also to Hal Slater. We became acquainted with Tabatha when Hal would bring her to various square dance functions. She loved the music & laughter.
