Worked with Val the summer of 1964; child welfare out of St.Boniface office. Val was in the process of getting married and was a bit distracted but happy. She spoke with great love and warmth about Frank. Val was cheerful and simply nice. Did not see her again until 2014 when I moved back to Winnipeg. Val was still very much as I remembered her; spoke with love ands admiration for a granddaughter with whom she was spending time. Good memories. Val is now resting in peace; thanks be to God; Val deserves this peace. My sincere condolences to family. As my good friend often reminded me…’we only have one mother’. - Posted by: Anne Collie (Friend, co worker many years ago.) on: Oct 22, 2023
