Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • So sorry for the loss of a great lady. Such a kind lady, do anything for everyone. And the love of storm chasing. She is with her family now. - Posted by: Debra Wiebe (Friend) on: Oct 31, 2023

  • Wendy and I met at the Harrow School outdoor skating shack in Grade 3. We used to go skating all the time. She was one of my best friends all through high school until unfortunately we lost touch in our mid twenties. I was so saddened to hear that she had passed away at such a young age. She was the kind of person that would light up a room especially with her sense of humour. Rest in Peace Wendy. - Posted by: Colleen Orchard (McRae) (Friend) on: Oct 28, 2023

  • I had the privilege to work with Wendy for over 25 years and during this time we also formed a friendship. Wendy was such a kind and supportive person to everyone she met. She had a great sense of humour and such a contagious laugh. I can still hear it as I write this. Life was hard for her. The unimaginable happened twice to her in a short period of time as she lost the loves of her life. I was in awe of her resilience and her ability to build a life of giving so much of herself to her friends, family, patients and communities despite her heartbreak and loss. The world is a better place because of her. Rest in peace Wendy as you reunite with your most precious loved ones. You will be missed. ❤️ - Posted by: Darlene Bromley (Friend ) on: Oct 21, 2023
