Valerie Jacqueline (Jackie) Ammeter passed peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2023, after a 15 year battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
She is survived by her husband Bruno Siegfried Ammeter, children, David Joseph Creighton, wife Laurie (grandchildren, Evan and Cameron), Steven Derek Creighton, wife Linda, Michael Dean Creighton, wife Carrie (grandchildren, Ashley and Aaron - wife Annica, great-grandchild Neylie), Michelle Jacqueline Ammeter, husband Kevin (grandchild Wilfred Siegfried Ammeter Hussey).
Jackie was very active in her community and was a contributor to the Starbuck Trinity Lutheran Church as well as the town luncheon club, curling and a plethora of other activities. She sang in the church choir, enjoyed gardening and made her family crazy with her “clean streak”.... (that’s code for mom taking out the white glove).
She will forever be missed, revered, remembered and loved.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Starbuck, MB.

Sending sympathy and prayers for the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. My mom Ellen will miss her strength and example of positive living and especially her voice at choir.
