JEFFREY ALAN KUTASIEWICH

June 22, 1963 – October 31, 2023

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the unexpected and sudden passing of Jeffrey Alan Kutasiewich at the age of 60 on October 31, 2023, in Winnipeg. Jeff is predeceased by his father Jack (Sr.), his mother Janet, and sister Debbie. Left to cherish Jeff’s memory is his wife of 34 years Brigitte, his sons Lucas and Justin (Jen), his grandchildren Charlie and Jack and his special polka-dotted grand-dogs Hank and Fritz. He is survived by his brother Jack (Jr), sister Wendy along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

One word could describe Jeff, and that was stubborn. He enjoyed everything the outdoors could offer; from hunting white tails, catching walleye or flying 100 mph on a snowmobile. His love for these things created many lifelong memories and special friendships that he will forever hold close to his heart.

In keeping with Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A public celebration of life will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay, Winnipeg MB. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.

Farewell Jeff: your laugh, your smile and most of all your stubborn love will be forever cherished.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • We met once or twice (I believe at a pool party, where I played with your sons). I worked at MCI (Pembina), and worked hand-in-hand with Jeff for years. I always enjoyed being around him, talking, joking, etc., and was saddened when I came across this. - Posted by: Lee Jarus (Friend) on: Apr 27, 2025

  • So sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed visiting with Jeff when I went to Winnipeg or he came to Pembina. - Posted by: Jerry Widme (Friend) on: Nov 07, 2023

  • Brigitte and family. We are so sorry to hear about the sudden passing of Jeff. We met occasionally in the North Kildonan area and we always shared a laugh about our life and times with the people at MCI. He often asked to meet him somewhere for coffee or breakfast and we never followed up. Regrettably we never took the time. God be with you all and help you through this difficult change in life. We'll be thinking of you, and miss his joking and humourous discussions. Rudy and Sharon. - Posted by: Rudy Lutzer and Sharon Laferriere (Co- worker at Motor Coach Industries.) on: Nov 06, 2023

  • Thought and Prayers to you all. May you cherish the wonderful memories for they live in your hearts forever. - Posted by: Kim Kozak (Former Neighbor) on: Nov 04, 2023
