DARLENE BUCHANAN

It is with deep sadness that the family of Darlene Joy Buchanan announce her passing at the Marsh Haven Special Care Home on November 9, 2023, at the age of 60.



Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 21, 1963; she was the daughter of Sylvia (Tatarchuk) Buchanan and the late Norris Buchanan.



Along with her father, she was predeceased by the love of her life, Roger Smith who passed away in 2011 and by her brother, Darren Buchanan who passed away in 1989.



Darlene loved to talk to people and enjoyed her time spent working for the Atlantic Superstore. She loved to read and enjoyed watching the Big Bang Theory.



She will live on in the hearts of her mother, Sylvia Buchanan; her daughter, Joy Buchanan of Hampton; her sister, Debbie Grimshire and her husband Don of Winnipeg; her aunts: Sally Andrushko, Olly Wolk, Pat Buchanan, Gail Hencheroff and Pat Buchanan; her nephews: Mark Grimshire and Kevin Grimshire; the Smith Family to whom she was very close; her special friends: Veronica Smith and Georgette Smith; as well as many cousins and extended family members.



Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506-433-1176). At Darlene's request no visitation or service will be held. She will be laid to rest with the love of her life, Roger in Pioneer Cemetery, Penobsquis, NB.
