With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mom on November 7 at the Grace Hospital.
Mom is survived by her children, Linda, Karen, Joan, Barbara, Frank, Daune and Sandy; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Wilfred in 1996.
Born in Carman, Mom married Dad in 1946 and they started raising a family in rural Manitoba. By 1963 they moved to Winnipeg to Belvidere Street where Mom lived for 55 years. Working in health care, she was first a practical nurse, then a registered nurse and last served as an administrator at the Winnipeg Municipal Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and a private family Celebration of Life will be arranged in future.

Our sincere condolences to all the Roberts clan, on June's passing. We admired the commitment June took to further career in nursing. And while conversing across the neighbouring hedge, we enjoyed hearing June's hearty laugh and seeing her bright smile. They are attributes she passed on to all her children.
