Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I am so saddened to hear about Susanne’s death. Even though we lost touch in the years, it was always a great time/chat when we happen to meet somewhere. She was such a wonderful caring woman. When I worked with her at the Service Canada St B office, she helped get me through hard times when I was going through my divorce and made sure I went out by offering her daughter Brigitte to babysit. Her and I had some great times back then. She was always there for her clients as well. My sincere condolences to her family. She will be missed, I’m sure. - Posted by: Liliane McRae (Co-worker/friend) on: Dec 05, 2023

  • I met Sue at least 40 years ago. We have been great friends ever since. We often spent time together with our children. The kids remember the family meetings we had altogether. Sue was a generous, compassionate and very caring person. If it wasn’t for her I would not be alive today. She saved my life over 30 years ago. My children and I miss her already. We miss you Sue and love you very much. Rest In Peace. ❤️❤️❤️ Remember Michelle and Brigitte and David we are here for you. We love you very much. - Posted by: Diane Champagne (Friend) on: Dec 04, 2023

  • I first met your mother in high school. She had a great laugh, good sense of humour and fun to be around. She put on a great year-end celebration for our grade 9 class. Although we lost touch as adults, we managed to reconnect through her sister, Noëlla, who lives on the same street as my family. Your mom will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. - Posted by: Rose Emond (Classmate) on: Dec 04, 2023

  • I met first Suzanne (Susie) while we lived on the same street. At first it was a smile and a beautiful greeting to start the day and soon progressed to sharing stories. And later after we had each moved to different places, every time we saw each other, she always had that wonderful smile on her face and a hug. She was always such a lady, an example to us all to treat everyone with respect and kindness. Our condolences to Susie's family and friends. May she rest in peace. - Posted by: Evelyn Champagne (Acquaintence) on: Dec 02, 2023

  • Suzanne worked for many years for EI. She really cared for her clients. She had a knack of bypassing red tape, so that her clients could receive financial help much sooner than if they were forced to fend for themselves. She saw her job as client first, not process. Well done Suzanne. - Posted by: Denis Letain (Former co-worker.) on: Dec 02, 2023

  • My sincere condolences to Susie’s family. We go back many years and she was the kindest person. We had good times when living in the Arundel apartments many years ago. May she rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. - Posted by: Louise Morgan (Friend) on: Dec 02, 2023

  • My condolences to the family, may your memories sustain you. I worked in the same dept. as Suzanne but in different offices. Every time we met for meetings or other occasions we greeted each other with huge smiles and a hug. Your Mom was a wonderful lady who I was proud to call a friend. Rest in Peace Suzanne. - Posted by: Donna Scibak (Co-worker) on: Dec 02, 2023
