It is with breaking hearts that we announce that our beloved Honesto "Nes" Saludo, age 57, passed away peacefully and joined our creator with his loving family at his side on November 22, 2023, at 4:50 p.m. in St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
He returned to the Lord of all Life after three years and eight months of battling with cancer.
He is survived by his wife Denden and twin daughters, Andy and Nikki.
We gratefully remember him, a loving husband and a devoted and wonderful father, a great and kind man and a good friend. His unconditional love, his blessed life, and his abiding faith will be greatly missed by so many people who loved him. He touched many lives with his kindness, generosity and passion for life. He will be forever in our hearts. Nes will be fondly remembered for his love in fixing cars, his talent in music, fishing, gardening, puzzles and singing Karaoke.
Lamay (Viewing) was held from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Prayers were said at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 505 Brewster Street. Interment will take place back home in the Philippines.
Please say a prayer for our beloved Honesto "Nes".
